Currently he is working as a full time Sound Designer for Firaxis Games, while still making work for freelance work. During his undergrad, he majored in “Music for New Media” at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, graduating in May 2022. He studied under Thomas Dolby and Christopher Kennedy, learning how to hone in electronic music, orchestral, and explore other avenues in the audio world. His musical roots are in classical music, but he has sought out many different musical genres, such as punk, jazz, metal, and electronic music to enhance his diversity in composition. He also pulls out music from his Ukrainian roots and tries to apply the character of his grandparent’s homeland into the music that he creates. His music is often inspired by the what he feels helps convey the proper story the best and he does heavy research into the topic he is scoring for and picking just the right type of music that will truly amplify the emotions the creator wishes to see in their project. Whether it be minimalist music to allowing for the audience to breathe and take in the other aspects of the project or bombastic music that unleashes those buried emotions. He has worked on many student films, some notable films included are “Umoja” “Detroit Remember When – A Tribute to Dick Purtan”, “Maeorra and the Wisper Stone” and “Hear no Evil”. Out of independent video games, he recently scored independent game “Liquid Space Dimension” by Puppet Fox. He also tries to regularly participate in game jams, which has helped him learn to deliver music and revisions consistently. Some of his more notable game jam projects have been “Pikupals: Picross + Aliens”, “Ancient Dream”, and “Jay Walker: Rogue Pedestrian”. This has allowed him to create a small name for himself and receive many requests for music and people searching out for his audio expertise.
